Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Medical Social Worker (MSW) for a short-term assignment in a Level II Trauma Center setting. The position is located in an acute care hospital environment that requires strong skills in discharge planning, care coordination, and diverse case management. The role involves working in all hospital areas, including adjacent campuses, with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington state license as a Social Worker (LCSW or LMSW with Master`s Degree), BLS certification, at least 1 year of experience in social work, and Epic charting system experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in acute care, discharge planning, care coordination, adult protective services, and working with diverse patient populations.
• Float: Float rotation may be required if the candidate has experience with Medical Surgical and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
• Additional Information: The position involves working in a complex hospital environment with an average patient load of 18-24 patients on weekdays, up to 30 on weekends. Candidates must be flexible to work holidays as scheduled and adhere to all RTO requests made upfront. The assignment requires responding to a specific screening question regarding prior experience at a Providence facility and providing two references covering the last 3 years.
