Job Description

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a healthcare facility in a hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of managing high-risk obstetric cases and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications:
    • One (1) year of recent (within the last three years) full-time equivalent experience in labor and delivery nursing.
    • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
    • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
    • Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor`s degree in nursing or a related field.
    • Five (5) or more years of recent experience in labor and delivery, with emphasis on high-risk obstetrics, within the last two (2) years.
    • High-Risk Obstetrics experience is highly preferred.
  • Additional Information:
    • The assignment is scheduled to begin on 10/05/2026 and end on 01/02/2027.
    • Availability to work full-time hours for the duration of the contract.
    • Candidates must demonstrate competence in managing obstetric emergencies and high-risk cases in a fast-paced environment.
