Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Oncology Floor

Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse (MS ONC) is needed for a position in a healthcare facility located in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This role involves providing specialized care on the Medical Surgical Oncology floor, with a focus on chemotherapy administration and supporting patients undergoing cancer treatments. The position offers a daytime schedule with a focus on patient-centered oncology nursing.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, with minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; Chemotherapy Certification and experience in administering chemotherapy; minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty; location requirementcandidates must be within 50 miles of the facility.

• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The candidate will be responsible for delivering care in a radiation oncology setting, supporting patients through their treatment journeys. Holiday coverage includes working two major holidays out of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year`s Day, as well as one minor holiday such as the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year`s Eve. Candidates should be prepared to work these holiday shifts.
