Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Oncology Floor

Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Oncology Floor nurse position is based in a suburban healthcare organization specializing in hematology and oncology care. This role involves providing specialized nursing services in a busy hospital setting, with a focus on chemotherapy administration and oncology patient care. The position requires a professional committed to delivering high-quality patient outcomes within a collaborative team environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification; at least two years of recent experience in oncology or medical-surgical nursing; certification in chemotherapy administration; current licensure in nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma Level 1 settings, oncology, or intensive care unit (ICU) environments.
• Additional Information: The successful candidate must work two major holidays out of the following threeThanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Dayand one minor holidayFriday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Years Eve. No local candidates within 50 miles will be considered, and the shift is scheduled from Monday to Friday.
