Registered Nurse / Pediatric Operating Room Open Heart

Job Summary:
Pediatric Operating Room Open Heart (Specialty) located in the healthcare organization. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the pediatric cardiovascular surgical environment. The assigned nurse will operate as a full partner on the healthcare team, demonstrating safe, evidence-based practice, and ensuring patient-centered care for pediatric patients undergoing cardiac procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating start times (06:45, 09:00, 10:45); minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license, current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; three years of CVOR circulating experience; at least one year of travel assignment experience in the last three years; proficient in clinical operations and technology; experience in guiding unlicensed assistive personnel as per the California Nurse Practice Act.
• Preferred Qualifications: Two years of pediatric CVOR scrub experience preferred.
• Additional Information: This position requires immediate start and duration from 09/28/2026 to 12/26/2026. Flexibility to work rotating shifts is essential, along with the ability to scrub and circulate in pediatric cardiovascular operating room settings.
