Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in Idaho Falls, ID. This position involves providing specialized critical care to patients in a 29-bed general ICU within a level 2 trauma center. The role requires clinical expertise in ventilator management, arterial blood gas interpretation, vasoactive drip titration, and hemodynamic monitoring to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, every other weekend.
• Required Qualifications: RN license, ACLS certification, BLS certification, 3 years of ICU experience, permanent residence in Idaho Falls, ID.
• Preferred Qualifications: TNCC, NIH stroke scale certification, ABLS registration, experience with CRRT, Impella, IABP, and ECMO equipment.
• Additional Information: The ICU staff averages 12 years of experience. Responsibilities include intubations, central line placement, bronchoscopies, bedside tracheostomy, and PEG tube placement. The unit operates with no CNAs but has one telemetry technician. Equipment includes Aleris pumps, GE monitors, Edwards EV 1000 and CCO, Primaflex CRRT, and Cardiohelp ECMO. The units documentation system is Meditech.
