Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse in a healthcare facility located in Templeton. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of neonatal patients within a dynamic, patient-focused environment. The position supports the organizations commitment to providing high-quality neonatal care and fosters collaboration among the healthcare team. This position is represented by a union.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/10/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of a school of nursing; Current RN license in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor within 6 months of hire or transfer; AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course required on hire and every two years for experienced nurses.

- Additional Information: Actively participates in hospital committees, demonstrates professionalism, maintains current licenses and certifications, adheres to all regulatory and hospital policies, and practices safety and infection control standards. The candidate must have at least two years of neonatal or related experience and EPIC electronic medical records experience. The position is within a hospital that utilizes a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) model. No on-call responsibilities are required.
