Job Summary:
Certified Operating Room Technician (OR Tech) in Cleveland, Ohio. This role involves supporting a busy surgical unit with a primary focus on general, colorectal, gynecology, urology, breast, eye, brachytherapy, plastics, uro-gynecology, and robotic surgeries. The position requires flexibility to float within skill set, including assisting with robotic procedures and eye trauma cases, primarily supporting a 7-room unit operating Monday through Friday with occasional weekend call shifts.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, often finishing by 7-8 pm, with minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification as a Certified Operating Room Technician, valid Driver`s License or State ID, successful completion of UHS Skills Checklist, UHS Submission Packet, and UHS Prior Employment Form.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting robotic surgeries, particularly with Da Vinci XI system, and experience with posterior eye procedures and eye trauma.
  • Additional Information: The role involves assisting with a variety of surgical procedures including hernias, appendectomies, cholecystectomies, colorectal resections, gynecologic, urologic, breast, eye surgeries, brachytherapy, plastics, and uro-gynecology. The unit operates primarily Monday to Friday, with support provided during early dismissal or staffing shortages within your skill set. Two weekend call shifts per contract are required; no additional weekend obligations are mandated.
