Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Oncology Floor

Job Summary:
Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Oncology will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the oncology floor. This role involves managing chemotherapy treatments, wound care, and patient education within a hospital setting, following established protocols and safety standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license in the relevant state, ACLS and BLS certifications, at least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, and recent experience with EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Floating: Float rotation may be required across Med/Surg, Med/Tele, Emergency Department, and Postpartum units.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have experience managing ports, administering chemotherapy, handling blood products, and monitoring dysrhythmias. Orientation includes approximately 8 hours of EPIC training and 4 hours of modules completed during orientation.
