Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room RN (Registered Nurse) position located in Winchester, VA. This role involves providing critical nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, adhering to facility protocols, and collaborating effectively with healthcare teams during evening shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evenings shift, hours from 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Virginia State License or Compact license, American Heart Association (AHA) certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS). A minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience and proficiency with Epic electronic medical records.

• Additional Information: The emergency department has 495 beds, with a focus on providing acute care for diverse patient populations. The assignment duration is 13+ weeks, with a preference for a 16-week commitment. The facility requires candidates to wear navy blue scrubs and adhere to the organizations dress code policy.
