Registered Nurse / Progressive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) Progressive Care Unit Nights This role involves delivering high-quality patient care within a progressive care environment, utilizing evidence-based nursing practices. The RN will supervise nursing staff, conduct patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and ensure safe discharge planning. Emphasizing patient and staff safety, the position requires collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to promote optimal health outcomes.

Job Details:

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) for Progressive Care Unit
• Shift: Nights
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• End Date: 12/28/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS); Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (CIRH only); at least 2 years of bedside clinical experience preferred; interest in 16-26 week assignment; no minimum years of experience required.
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission; collaborates on patient education and discharge planning; maintains accurate documentation; participates in patient rehabilitation activities; delegates tasks appropriately; and ensures safety protocols are followed. Maintains communication with the healthcare team regarding patient status and supplies. Pursues ongoing professional development and contributes to a positive team environment.
