Operating Room Tech / Operating Room Open Heart

Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) specialist is needed in an acute care setting on a day shift schedule. This role involves single scrubbing cardiac procedures and assisting in various surgical specialties such as orthopedics, neurology, vascular, robotics, urology, general surgery, and gynecology. The position requires flexibility to float within the unit and participate in call duties as scheduled.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, four days per week with Thursdays off, and every other weekend on-call.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) through the NBSTSA; CPR (BLS) certification; minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac cases and single scrubbing in the operating room.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Ability to scrub in cardiac OR required; Must be able to assist with cases in other surgical specialties when cardiac cases are not scheduled.
