Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) RN position available in a Family Birth Center. The role involves caring for both low and high-risk delivery patients, including those with complex neonatal needs, with on-site staff including laborists available 24/7. The nurse will be required to pass a proctored dysrhythmia test onsite during orientation. The assignment is scheduled to start on 10/06/2026 and end on 01/05/2027, with night shifts covering 12 hours and a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, every other week, with first to float; shift hours from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM for both days and nights, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit, minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, certifications including ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), Advanced Fetal Monitoring, BLS (Basic Life Support), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and COVID vaccination required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic fetal monitoring, proficiency with Cerner charting system, andAbility to circulate is not required but beneficial.
• Additional Information: Unit notes indicate a mix of Family Birth Center patient care, with low and high risk deliveries, a Level III NICU, and specific staffing and certification requirements. Peak times are in July and October; hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
