Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical With Telemetry

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) in a healthcare facility setting. This position involves providing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations in a fast-paced environment. The role offers an opportunity to work on a specialized unit with a focus on telemetry monitoring and medical-surgical patient care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and advanced certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), with at least 1 year of experience in medical-surgical and telemetry units. Valid Oregon state license (ETA 2 weeks) or in process, and must be willing to float within the healthcare system. Candidate must have EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Certification in chemotherapy (Chemo cert), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, peripheral line care, PICC line management, and IV insertion skills.
  • Additional Information: This role requires candidates to attest to telemetry experience, with potential float to other units such as Medical Surgical Oncology, Orthopedics, Neuro, and Telemetry units. Candidates should be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and influenza, with exemptions considered for medical or religious reasons. Submission must include references from the past two years, proof of licensure application if applicable, and all relevant certifications.
