Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a short-term acute care facility. The role involves providing specialized nursing care to adult patients on a progressive care unit, with versatile responsibilities including patient assessment, medication administration, and coordination of patient care. This assignment offers a dynamic environment requiring flexibility and clinical expertise to meet patient needs effectively.

Job Details

  • Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license accepted), at least one year of clinical experience, current certifications including BLS and ACLS, and preferred experience with electronic charting using Epic.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with blood product administration, central line care, telemetry, and dysrhythmia interpretation.
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours weekly.
  • Additional Information: The role requires working every other weekend, a 24-hour orientation, and a commitment to holiday coverage. Candidates may be expected to float between units and potentially between nearby facilities. Response to specific scheduling requests and references covering recent clinical experience are required prior to start.
