Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology in a high-acuity healthcare environment. This position involves providing comprehensive obstetric care, assisting with high-risk deliveries, and supporting postpartum patients during night shifts. The role is suitable for experienced professionals comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with a focus on maternal and neonatal health.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The start date is 09/28/2026 and the end date is 12/28/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Valid and current license in obstetric nursing, with at least 2 years of recent experience in labor and delivery or a similar high-acuity obstetric environment; certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required and must be in hand at time of submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-risk obstetrics, fetal monitoring, and electronic fetal monitoring (EFM).
• Additional Information: The role includes responsibilities such as assisting with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, fetal heart monitoring, postpartum care, and managing high-risk pregnancies. Unit support includes interdisciplinary teams such as respiratory services, social services, and rapid response teams. Floating to similar units may be required based on the facility`s staffing needs.
