Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Medical Nurse in Las Vegas, NV. This role involves providing specialized critical care to patients in a busy ICU environment. The nurse will be responsible for managing intricate patient needs, operating advanced medical equipment, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Current Nevada nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), successful completion of critical care course, familiarity with ventilators, proficiency in EKG interpretation, and knowledge of vasopressor titration.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with at least 2 years of ICU experience, flexible and able to work under stress.
  • Responsibilities: Managing ICU patients, performing intubations, line placements, vasoactive drip titrations, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and bronchoscopy procedures.
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours weekly.
  • Additional Information: Candidate must have a high-energy personality, excellent time management skills, be flexible and reliable. Floating area includes ICU, IMC, and emergency department, requiring adaptability to different patient care settings.
