Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Specialty - Derry, New Hampshire. This position involves providing acute care within a busy emergency department setting. The candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of emergency cases, performing procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• End Date: 12/28/2026
• Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and CPI certifications (within 30 days); 2-3 years ER experience; proactive in procedures such as moderate sedation, central line placement, chest tube placement, IV insertion, lab draw, point-of-care testing, EKGs, respiratory treatments; familiar with GE monitors, Lucas 3, Glidescope, EV 1000, Level 1 infuser; must meet hospital dress code (dark blue scrubs) and demonstrate patient-centered care practices such as whiteboard updates and family communication.
• Preferred Qualifications: Stroke Certification, Cath Lab, Trauma Level 3
• Additional Information: The role requires candidates to be adaptable, capable of working in a unit with 19 beds, six hall beds, and six sub-waiting room beds, with a patient ratio of 1:5. The environment includes advanced equipment and documentation systems like Meditech, and the staff plays a crucial role in delivering compassionate emergency care.
