Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in a healthcare facility specializing in obstetric care. This role involves caring for high-acuity patients in a 19-bed maternity unit, requiring prior experience in labor and delivery. The nurse will work night shifts, providing essential support for mothers and newborns, while adhering to established protocols and clinical standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of L&D experience, prior travel experience, active Registered Nurse license, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications. Must have completed an AWHONN intermediate Fetal Monitoring class, with an advanced class and EFM certification preferred. Must be able to handle high-acuity patients. Degree accreditation must be on the profile or candidate must have at least 5 years of relevant experience. EMR system used is Epic. Scrub color: Galaxy Blue and/or White.
- Additional Information: Must be able to work a 12-hour night shift schedule. Floating to other sister campuses may be required; travelers are prioritized for floating. All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted during the application process. Demographic information (full address, email, date of birth, SSN, RN license number) must be loaded at the time of submission. Culture is very important; travelers are welcomed and expected to function as core staff. The document deadline for submission is the Monday prior to the start date.
