Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a healthcare organization in a high-volume obstetrics unit. This position involves providing direct patient care to women in labor, delivery, and postpartum stages, ensuring safety and comfort for both mother and newborn. The RN will work various shifts, including nights, with a focus on high-risk obstetric patients and complex procedures.

Job Details:

  • Location: Not specified
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM), minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Valid RN license in the state of practice
    • At least 2 years of experience in high-risk obstetric care
    • Current certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) from AWHONN (American Association of Women`s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses)
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN Intermediate or equivalent)
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
    • 0 years of experience (note: the candidate must meet the other core qualification requirements)
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with placenta accrete spectrum disorders (PASD)
    • Experience performing twin deliveries, C-sections, D&C, D&E
  • Additional Information:
    • The unit serves high-risk obstetrics with a Level III maternal designation and Level II neonatal designation.
    • The team is highly engaged, with self-scheduling, motivated staff, and a positive work environment.
    • The facility is staffed with experienced providers and supported by new equipment and technology.
    • The schedule includes night shifts, and the team maintains great relations with physicians and leadership.
    • Length of assignment from 10/12/2026 to 01/11/2027.
