Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary:
Laparatory and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) North Country Hospital, Vermont. This role involves providing comprehensive care to women during labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal units. The position requires flexibility to float to other units and care for overflow from the Progressive Care Unit. The shift is scheduled during daytime hours, and the assignment duration is from October 5, 2026, to January 4, 2027.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), and a minimum of 1 year of experience in labor and delivery or related obstetric settings
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with postpartum and neonatal care, Ability to float across units, and familiarity with hospital policies and procedures
• Additional Information: Candidates must be available to attend quarterly department education sessions. The role offers the opportunity to work in a small community known for outdoor recreation and a peaceful lifestyle. Personal transportation is strongly recommended due to limited public transit options.
