Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nursing position located in a healthcare facility, providing critical care services during night shifts. This role involves coordinating patient care for diverse patient populations, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained, and adhering to organizational policies. The RN will be responsible for delivering efficient, patient-centered care in a high-pressure environment.
Job Details:
- Shift Time: Nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, starting 09/28/2026 and ending 12/26/2026
- Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license or current Compact state license; Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification from AHA; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification from AHA; Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) Certification; at least 1 year of nursing experience
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required to assist during low census periods
- Additional Information: The RN is expected to perform initial patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, participate in patient and family education, and perform Point of Care testing as needed. The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to patient rights, and adherence to clinical standards.
