Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) registered nurses are responsible for providing specialized care to patients with cardiovascular conditions in a high-acuity clinical setting. The role involves performing independent nursing functions, assessing patient health status, developing and implementing care plans, and executing delegated medical functions following approved standards of practice. The position requires a proactive approach to patient care, health education, and collaboration with healthcare teams to promote positive outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift with 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: -ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing -Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice -BLS (American Heart Association) -ACLS -NIH - a minimum of 0 years of experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in a cardiovascular intensive care unit.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The role involves performing clinical assessments, health data collection, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, execution of medical functions, patient referrals, treatment plan monitoring, documentation, and resource utilization in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines. The position may require being placed on-call during scheduled shifts and working within a dynamic healthcare environment to support patient recovery and well-being.
