Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position at a Level 3 trauma center. This role involves providing surgical nursing care within a busy OR environment across multiple service lines including orthopedics, ophthalmology, podiatry, general surgery, robotics, thoracic, vascular, pain management, urology, and cardiology. The assigned shift is during daytime hours with a minimum schedule of 40 hours per week, starting from 10/19/2026 through 01/17/2027.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), valid Driver`s License or State ID, and completion of UHS submission packet and prior employment form. Experience required: 1 year in operating room nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: None listed
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The role involves managing 5-7 operating rooms five days a week, with call response within 30 minutes, and call divided equally amongst job grade per month. Typically, call is required one day per week and one weekend per month. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality surgical nursing care in a fast-paced, trauma level 3 environment.
