Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse in a Level 3 Trauma Center located in Sioux City. This role involves providing specialized care to cardiac, trauma, and neurological patients. The position offers an opportunity to join an interdisciplinary team with a focus on critical patient management, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU settings.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Two or more years of ICU experience, active Iowa state license, certification in BLS (American Heart Association preferred or ARC/US Military certificates accepted), ACLS (American Heart Association preferred or ARC/US Military certificates accepted), PALS (American Heart Association preferred or ARC/US Military certificates accepted), valid drivers license, and current work history specific to ICU discipline.
• Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification (may be required for extending the assignment).
• Orientation Date: 10/26/2026
• Start Date: 10/26/2026
• End Date: 02/01/2027
• Additional Information:
  • Candidates must have at least 2 years of ICU experience.
  • First-time travelers are welcome.
  • May be asked to float within the ICU discipline across local campuses.
  • Local candidates are not eligible; all candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility.
  • No call required; every third weekend shifts.
  • The traveler will contribute professional and clinical skills in patient care, working within established protocols and procedures in a high-acuity environment.
