Job Description

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility. The RN will provide comprehensive care related to labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care. The role involves assisting physicians during delivery, monitoring fetal heart rates, and caring for neonates immediately after birth. This position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: WY RN license or RN compact license, must have 2 years recent RN Level 1 Nursery, Postpartum, OB/GYN, and Labor & Delivery (L&D/LDRP) experience. Certifications required include ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN (must be attached to submission and provided through the American Heart Association).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for OB/GYN patients (post-op hysterectomy), antepartum, triage, labor and delivery, and postpartum care.
  • Additional Information: Candidates may be required to float to other units depending on facility census, serving as additional help or as sitters. Certification classes such as fetal monitoring and STABLE should be attended every two years; NRP certification must be current.
