Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) Night Shift, beginning September 28, 2026, and ending December 28, 2026. This role involves providing patient care within an interdisciplinary team in a Level 3 trauma center. Candidates will be expected to contribute professional and clinical skills in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities across multiple local campuses as required.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shift; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Two or more years of Med Surg (Medical Surgical Floor) experience; Epic electronic medical record system experience; Heparin drip experience preferred; active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; current Drivers License; Iowa State license.
• Preferred Qualifications: First-time traveler candidates are eligible; experience with float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility (based on driver`s license). No local candidates are accepted. Successful applicants will undergo orientation starting on 09/28/2026 or 10/12/2026.
• Certifications: BLS (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates accepted).
• Experience: 0 or more years of experience in a medical-surgical setting.
