Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:

Operating Room Nursing Location unspecified. This position involves providing leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care within the surgical environment. The role utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Effective communication with the surgical team, patients, and families is essential. The nurse will also participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensure the implementation of appropriate actions.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday: 2/12 and 2/8 shifts. 40 hours per week, with every other weekend consisting of 12-hour shifts.
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing, BLS certification, and 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Additional Information: The role involves performing a wide variety of professional nursing services in the operating room setting, utilizing clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans, and effectively communicating with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
