Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located at a healthcare facility in a hospital setting. The role involves providing specialized patient care within the PCU, with a focus on post-catheterization procedures, drip titrations, and monitoring using equipment such as Welch Allen vital sign monitors and Alaris intravenous pumps. This assignment offers guaranteed hours and is scheduled for night shifts, starting on 12/14/2026, with an expected end date of 03/15/2027.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Arizona licensed RN, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, current ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred, 0 years of minimum experience required
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Progressive Care Unit, proficiency with EKG interpretation, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: The unit consists of a 18-bed patient care area with a staffing ratio of 4:1, using Welch Allen vital sign monitors and Alaris IV pumps. The environment emphasizes professionalism with a grey scrub dress code and does not permit hoodies. The unit has received awards such as EOM Quality awards and the Daisy Award. The position requires candidates available to start on 12/14/2026 and work through 03/15/2027.
