Job Summary
Telemetry (TELE) nurse position located in Independence, Missouri. The role involves providing inpatient care in a designated telemetry unit with a focus on cardiac monitoring and patient assessment. The position is scheduled to start on December 14, 2026, with a minimum duration through March 15, 2027, offering consistent shifts and a collaborative team environment.
Job Details
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); ability to perform advanced assessment and critical thinking; experience managing vasoactive drips.
- Schedule: 12-hour shift, minimum 36 hours per week, beginning 12/14/2026 and ending 03/15/2027.
- Additional Information: This position is in a Level 2 trauma center with stroke and STEMI accreditation, operating with best practices in patient safety such as bedside shift reports, hourly rounding, and daily leadership rounds. The unit features new cardiac monitors and a dedicated education focus, with a positive team-oriented environment.
