Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position in a hospital setting. This role involves providing advanced patient care for high-acuity patients in a demanding clinical environment. The nurse will perform comprehensive assessments, deliver emergency and routine care, and ensure patient safety and satisfaction during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; valid registered nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; ICU nursing experience of at least 1 year.
• Preferred Qualifications: Associates or Bachelors degree in nursing.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have ICU experience; skills include ICU nursing, patient assessment, clinical skills, emergency equipment operation, documentation, patient safety, preoperative and postoperative assessment, patient education, and perioperative care. This position is in a high acuity Surgical Department Unit (SDU). The role requires supporting pre-admission testing and ensuring proper documentation and patient education before and after procedures.
