Registered Nurse / Step Down Unit

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse specializing in Step Down Unit in a hospital setting. This role involves utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The candidate will collaborate with the healthcare team to promote evidence-based practices within a healing culture, embodying the organizations core values of Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity, and Excellence.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred; certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Relevant Experience: At least 1 year of intermediate care or step-down nursing experience; proficiency in computer skills, patient assessment, and effective communication.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications or specialized training relevant to step-down nursing.
• Additional Information: Candidate must demonstrate excellent communication and computer skills; ability to work effectively within a collaborative team; and embrace shared governance model promoting evidenced-based care.
