Job Description

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nursing Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care within the operating room setting. The role requires collaboration with surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. The clinical nurse will utilize evidence-based practices to support patient safety, comfort, and recovery throughout the perioperative process.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift hours, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university is preferred. No minimum experience is required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in operating room nursing or perioperative care is advantageous.
  • Additional Information: The role involves maintaining a sterile environment, assisting with surgical procedures, monitoring patient vitals, and implementing safety protocols. The position requires rapid problem-solving skills and the ability to respond appropriately to emergent situations. Candidates should demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills to support optimal patient outcomes.
