Operating Room Tech / Operating Room Open Heart

Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) Located in Wichita, KS, this position involves working on a vascular-trained surgical team specializing in open heart procedures. The role requires a credentialed professional to provide exceptional cardiovascular surgical support. This assignment offers a challenging yet rewarding environment focused on high-quality patient care and team collaboration.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS and NBSTA, current active licensure in Kansas, minimum six months hospital experience in cardiovascular operating room, vascular training, and experience with open heart procedures such as CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification, open heart and cardiovascular experience, prior Meditech EMR experience, experience with procedures like MVR and TAVR, confident and positive team player personality, strong communication skills with staff and providers
• Additional Information: On-call duty required once per weeknight and once per month weekend; ECMO program restarting, which may be enticing for candidates interested in advanced cardiovascular support roles; candidate must be vascular trained
