Job Summary
Telemetry Nurse - Overland Park, Kansas. This 48-hour guaranteed assignment involves providing specialized care on a 25-bed telemetry unit primarily managing renal, urology, oncology, pulmonology, cardiology, and general medical-surgical patients. Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 12/14/2026 and ending on 03/15/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support); Education Requirements include a relevant nursing degree; Location requirements include current licensure in Kansas; Experience required is at least 1 year of recent telemetry nursing experience with no minimum experience specified.
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong team-oriented attitude, good communication skills, and positive attitude.
• Additional Information: The unit is a medically complex telemetry setting with a focus on patient safety, quality documentation, and interdisciplinary teamwork. Staff utilize electronic medical records systems and operate equipment such as EKG machines, bladder scanners, sit-to-stand lifts, Hoyer lifts, hover mats, Alaris pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing systems.
