Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular

Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) in a community hospital setting located in Lake Havasu City. This position involves providing specialized critical care to adult and geriatric patients with a focus on cardiovascular conditions, including STEMI, NSTEMI, and other related diagnoses. The role requires collaboration within a Level Trauma Level III environment, utilizing advanced equipment and adhering to hospital standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH; 0 years of experience required; located within 60 miles or greater from the facility
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations, cardiovascular-specific skills
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Location in Lake Havasu City, known for outdoor recreation, fishing, golfing, swimming, and hiking.
  • Check out local attractions such as mountains and serene lakes, with proximity to major cities like Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Los Angeles.
  • No block schedule requests; 48-hour shifts can be considered but are not guaranteed.
  • Patient ratios typically 1:2 with Baxter pumps, utilizing Medhost electronic health record system.
  • Unit staffed with 16 beds, serving adult and geriatric populations with a variety of diagnoses including sepsis, stroke, trauma, and respiratory failure.
  • Responsible for delivering quality patient care in an emergency and critical care environment, with an emphasis on cardiovascular emergencies and interventions.
