Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position in an unspecified location. The role involves providing acute patient care in a busy emergency department setting. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional with relevant certifications and the ability to work dayshift hours.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • One (1) year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • License, Certification, Registration: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire, Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire, NIH Stroke Scale Certificate preferred
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in nursing or related field
  • Certification in Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias preferred
