Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse position in a healthcare facility. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for individuals with complex medical needs. The nurse will deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes. The position emphasizes quality nursing services in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification is required. Experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area of PCU is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor`s degree in nursing and professional certification are preferred.
- Additional Information: The RN will assess patient physical, emotional, psychological, social, and spiritual needs; formulate individual care plans; execute and document nursing interventions; evaluate patient responses; and collaborate with healthcare team members. Candidate will participate in quality improvement activities, education, and mentorship. The role involves interaction with patients, families, and healthcare staff across departments, ensuring continuity and safety of care.
