Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing comprehensive perioperative patient care, including assessment, documentation, safety procedures, and patient education. The position requires a licensed registered nurse with clinical skills pertinent to surgical patient care and preference for CNOR certification.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Candidates must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. At least 1 year of clinical experience in perioperative or surgical nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification is preferred but not required.
• Additional Information: Demonstrates assessment skills, clinical competency, documentation accuracy, professional responsibility, patient satisfaction focus, adherence to safety protocols, and knowledge of surgical conditions, procedures, and equipment. Responsibilities include pre-operative and postoperative patient assessments, education, testing support, and ensuring safety and confidentiality standards are maintained.
