Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary

Medical Surgical Floor (MS) position located in an unspecified region. This role involves providing clinical care within an interdisciplinary team, with responsibilities including patient management, documentation, and potentially floating within the same discipline across local campuses. The assignment requires a proactive approach to patient care and adherence to hospital protocols.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shifts with an average of 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: One year of experience in Med Surg, Post Op, or Stepdown units; surgical or post-operative surgical experience required; BLS certification; Iowa or Illinois state license; work history/resume; skills checklist completed within the past year; license verification; copy of certifications; supervisory reference required at submission; drivers license required; experience with up to 5-7 patients per shift encouraged; minimum of 0 years experience; at least 1 travel contract completed preferred; ability to care for patients in a Level 3 trauma center setting
• Additional Information: The assignment includes orientation scheduled from 01/12/2026 to 12/28/2026 with specified dates. Candidates must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility, unless located in Madison, where a local candidate with a 10% rate reduction is acceptable. This position does not include employment with the organization within the last 12 months.
