Job Summary
Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) Massachusetts. This position involves providing specialized wound, ostomy, and continence care, collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care from referral through follow-up. The role emphasizes patient education, clinical assessments, and process improvement to enhance patient outcomes.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: License Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. 1-3 years related work experience preferred. Experience with computer systems required, including web-based applications and Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access. Epic experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing preferred.
  • Additional Information: Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare providers, assists with pre-authorization, manages patient scheduling, performs evaluations and assessments, orders labs and diagnostic procedures, and educates patients and families. Participates in patient rounds, case conferences, and clinical literature review. Provides leadership for process improvement related to skin and wound care, acts as a liaison for quality and safety initiatives, and manages pressure injury prevalence surveys. Maintains mandatory education requirements and demonstrates professional responsibility aligned with hospital goals. Engagement in educational opportunities for growth and license renewal is expected. No prior work experience at a specific healthcare provider within the past 6 months is required.
