Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical (MS) Nurse in a clinical setting located in a facility. This position involves providing acute care on a Medical Surgical Floor with a patient ratio of up to 1:6. The assignment includes evening and night shifts, with a requirement for flexibility and the ability to float to different units as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit; BLS (AHA or ARC) certification; minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical setting; ability to work evenings and nights, with float flexibility to other units if necessary
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other units as needed
• Additional Information: Shift is every other week, with up to 2 additional shifts per 6 weeks. Some holidays may be required, primarily May through September and November through January. The unit is a 23-bed acute care ward. The electronic charting system used is EPIC.
