Job Summary
Rehabilitation Nurse in Florida This position involves providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing inpatient acute rehabilitation. The role focuses on supporting individuals recovering from strokes, brain injuries, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic injuries. The nurse will work to maximize patient recovery, function, and quality of life through comprehensive and individualized care plans.

Job Details

  • Location: 7775 Volunteer Way, Jacksonville, FL 32221
  • Shift: Days, from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: BLS, RN certification, minimum of 2 years rehabilitation nursing experience, Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing, valid nursing license in the state of Florida, ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a nurse or LPN with a background in rehab nursing, good communication skills, cooperative personality, team-oriented attitude
  • Additional Information: The role requires basic computer knowledge and effective communication skills. The unit has 50 beds with a patient ratio of 1:8. The candidate will report daily at 6:45 AM or PM upon arrival and should report to the designated supervisor.
