Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in the hospital setting. This role involves assessing, planning, and providing direct clinical care to patients in the Labor and Delivery department on a per shift basis. The Nurse will supervise staff, support the facility`s Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate patient care, and ensure clinical staff competency and resource management during the assigned shift.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing licensure, degree in Nursing, relocation or commuting flexibility to the facility, and at least 1 year of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in maternity or obstetric units, current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Additional Information: This is an extension order specifically for a designated staff member. The role involves supervising clinical staff, implementing patient care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
