Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in the region. This position involves assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to patients in the labor and delivery unit on a day shift schedule. The nurse will oversee staff, ensure delivery of high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, support clinical staff competency, and manage resources effectively to meet patient care needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Nursing license, Bachelors degree in Nursing or equivalent, recent experience in Labor and Delivery (minimum 0 years), flexibility to work day shifts, and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certification in neonatal resuscitation (NRP), experience with Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM), and familiarity with labor and delivery protocols.
• Additional Information: The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will be responsible for patient assessments, care planning, and supervising staff, with accountability to the facility Chief Nursing Officer. Parking is available around the facility, and a parking permit will be issued during onboarding.
