Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a 26-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) within a busy healthcare facility. The position requires working night shifts, with a focus on delivering high-quality acute care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights 12 hours per shift
• Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current acute care ICU RN hospital experience of at least 1 year, BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with Meditech electronic medical record system, travel experience to large trauma facilities, proficiency with Sono, IV, and CRRT procedures
• Additional Information: The unit employs CRRT equipment, manages moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and airway management. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong teamwork, adaptability, and maintains positive attitudes.
