Job Summary
ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit Philadelphia, PA. This position involves providing specialized patient care in the ICU setting, including float responsibilities to all ICU units, step-down units, IMCU, and ED for ICU holds or borders. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care under the supervision of licensed physicians.

Job Details

• Position Description: RN ICU at a healthcare facility in Philadelphia, PA. The role includes float responsibilities across all ICU units, step-down units, IMCU, and ED for ICU holds/borders. Temporary float to Womens and Family may be required with appropriate orientation.
• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required); Bachelors Degree (Preferred); 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in ICU; PA Registered Nurse License (Required); BLS (Required); ACLS (Required); NIHSS (Required); TNCC (Preferred); minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: RNs assess, implement, and evaluate patient care under the supervision of licensed physicians, utilizing current nursing principles, theories, and techniques. They coordinate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to individualize care plans and direct support staff according to standards and policies.
