Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse position is located in a high-volume, adult and pediatric capable unit with high acuity, including trauma and behavioral health components. The role involves providing nursing care in a fast-paced environment, with scheduled shifts on nights every other weekend and holiday, requiring at least two years of emergency nursing experience. The position is scheduled to start on 10/19/2026 and end on 02/17/2027, with a 12-hour shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts totaling 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: At least two years of emergency room nursing experience, valid driver`s license or state ID, and current UHS submission packet and prior employment form.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for pediatric patients, trauma/resuscitation experience, and familiarity with high-acuity environments.
• Additional Information: The unit features 38 beds, 5 fast track rooms, 4 behavioral health swing rooms, and 2 trauma/resuscitation rooms with high patient volume and acuity. Candidates must be comfortable and experienced in pediatric patient care and able to handle fast-paced emergency scenarios.
