Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) nurse position is available in a healthcare facility. The role involves scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques, and coordinating intraoperative patient care. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience, hold active licensure, and possess current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts from 06:30 to 17:00, with minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, at least 2 years of operating room experience, current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.
  • Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification is recommended.
  • Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for preparing the operating room, assembling and checking equipment and supplies, serving as a communication liaison, and ensuring aseptic techniques are maintained during surgical procedures. This position is scheduled to start on 08/31/2026 and will conclude on 11/28/2026. The role may require on-call shifts as part of the schedule, including three weekend and four weekday call shifts over a six-week period. Candidate must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility.
