Registered Nurse / Step Down Unit

Job Summary:
The specialized healthcare professional position for a Step Down Unit nurse is located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This role involves working in an acute care setting with responsibilities aligned to patient care at the step-down level, focusing on patients transitioning from intensive care. The position offers nights shift schedules, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule.

Job Details:

• Position: Step Down Unit Nurse
• Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, every other weekend, every other holiday
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit, ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association); minimum of 2 years of experience in similar settings
• Preferred Qualifications: IMC skill sets are preferred
• Additional Information: Cancellation policy allows the client to cancel up to 12 hours before the scheduled shift every 13 weeks. The charting system used is EPIC. Unit notes indicate a 36-hour workweek with a focus on acute care and trauma level 1 responsibilities.
